The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Neighborhood Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services such as new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it is actually alarmed concerning the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure website at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a regular basis. The service level produced for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of sassa status potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to help the servicing of all prospects and maximize use of Social Assistance products and services,” the agency said.
