SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render solutions for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it is alarmed about the high amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to some superior number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure sassa at Fernie and there is no fully functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis. The service level created for intervention experiences a superior inflow of opportunity beneficiaries, which makes it hard for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra assets to help the servicing of all consumers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
